National Meeting Officially Underway
The 2010 National Meeting of Quarter Midgets of America was called to order at 8:00 a.m. After introductions and opening comments, Dave King from Honda Motorsports addressed all in attendance and again pledged Honda’s support with a $9000 donation for the 2010 Grand Nationals. In addition Honda Engineer George Clous spoke about the new 120 and 160 engines-details will follow concluding our meeting. All rule change proposals were reviewed and voted upon. Presentations were made by Stacey Yurgel Perone, National Secretary, Tom Zickefoose, Vice President, Cheryl Caldwell, Secretary, and Rich Tisone, Publicity director. The meeting was adjourned for the day at 6:00 p.m. Minutes from today will be available for review by the NBOD and Regional Directors on Friday morning and will be voted on for approval. Tomorrow’s meeting will begin with the continuation of presentations by the NBOD.
Note: All official business will not be disclosed and any items discussed and/or voted upon will not be official until the meeting is adjourned on Saturday, February 6, 2010.
