Judging Calls

The videos on this page will give you a visual example of each of the possible judging calls that can be made against a driver, which results in a charged yellow. These calls are outlined in the QMA Rulebook.

Establishing Right of Way

Let's start with the basics. Who gets to go first through the turns?

Charging

When the inside card has not established right of way and hits the outside car.

Chopping

When the outside car has not established right of way and hits the inside car.

Rough Driving

When a driver runs over or into another driver in front of them or beside them.

Racing Room

When a driver will not give enough room to another competitor exiting the corner.

Blocking

When a driver intentionally changes lanes after exiting a corner to block a car from passing.

Loss of Control

An accident where a single car loses control and other cars become part of the incident.

No Call
